![]() It is no secret that we all need to build strong network support systems to build a successful business. I have noticed an interesting trend among the newer start-ups that I advise. They often confuse their network with how many people they have in their social media circles. Don’t get me wrong social networks can be a powerful tool but every business owner should evaluate the quality of their network. Here are a few considerations when reviewing your network:
Before making anyone a part of your business network VET them… use their services, spend some time with them, have long conversations be sure to get a good handle on who they are. If you have properly (and personally) vetted them you can weed out the waste. Remember networks work in both directions so don’t be afraid to get rid of waste and make sure you aren’t apart of someone else’s netwaste. Reluctantly Yours, S.
